UMAA Co-Hosts 2023 Workshop

Thanks to the Okinawa Gojuryu Kenkyukai North America members for attending and visiting our school. It is a huge honor to help host training with Taira Sensei and learning his methodology in application. We strive to make our school a home dojo to all who seek training and a strong community.   The event had students from all over the world attending.  Many of us knew each other from connecting on Facebook.  Others have had a chance to train with each other.  Overall, regardless of the different countries and schools, we all trained together and interacted like family.

There is more to school than just kicking and punching.  It is about the values, the drive, the goal to become better people in society.   The best defense in a fight is to avoid the fight entirely.  This applies because we met so many other Martial Artists with these same values and philosophy.   This past weekend we were all United Martial Artists!
